Senator Martin moved to amend the House Amendment on page 1, section 4a, line 3, after the word “qualitative,” by inserting the words “or quantitative”;

And,

On page 1, section 4a, after line 10, by striking out all of subsection (f) and inserting in lieu thereof a new subsection (f) to read as follows:

(f) Each patient admitted to a medication-assisted treatment program shall be offered the following basic services onsite as part of the initial assessment:

(1) Routine health screenings, including blood pressure and cholesterol screenings;

(2) HIV, hepatitis, and sexually transmitted diseases screenings;

(3) Birth control and voluntary long-acting reversible contraceptives;

(4) Vaccinations;

(5) Basic diagnostic screenings, including a urinalysis;

(6) Treatment of common illnesses and injuries, such as, but not limited to:

(A) Cold;

(B) Flu;

(C) Minor infections; and  

(D) Minor strains; and

(7) Overdose prevention supplies and education: Provided, That a medication-assisted treatment telehealth provider shall be exempt from the requirements of this subsection. Provided, however, That patients enrolled with a telehealth provider shall be referred every three months to a primary care provider during a continuous treatment episode.
